Our pricing list let's you know a baseline price for average service. Because every situation is unique, heavier infestation may require more than baseline treatment. You'll receive an inspection and be quoted an appropriate price if our tech deems your problem beyond average before any work is done.
Cockroaches typically infest primarily kitchens with secondary infestations striking bathrooms. Left unchecked they can take over an entire home. Killing the
colony is key. Ridding a home of roaches can be a challenge. We take a three pronged approach when dealing with cockroaches.
Baiting. Cockroaches consume bait, go back into the colony and die. When the colony consumes the body of the dead roach, they also ingest bait and die.
Insect Growth Regulator. Inhibits normal devlopment during the juvenile stage so juveniles cannot reach maturity to reproduce or emerge as sterile.
Contact coating and killing. Applying a product that has a slightly delayed kill time, the roach comes into contact with the product coating parts of the roach.
When the roach goes back to the colony, the product is spread to other roaches throughout the colony.
The Pacific Northwest has a mild climate conducive to spider habitation. Indoors - baseboard treatments, register traps. Outdoors - siding, window and doorway sweeping, area treatment.
Fleas are fast travelers. If you've got them in one room, you've got them in other rooms. This requires whole house floor treatment to eliminate.
Prep requiredBed bugs are a scourge. They are one of the hardest pests to exterminate. Hardy and resistant, they are difficult to kill, spread quickly, and can survive with no food source up to 400 days. Bed bug treatments are intensive, requiring a whole house inspection, trapping, chemical applications, steam, and monitors. Unfortunately, this is why bed bug elimination is costly and time consuming. It's also the reason for follow-up appointments. Follow-ups are crucial for ensuring that any new hatch is identified and treated immediately.
Prep requiredSometimes it's random pests that have decided to make your home their home. We are happy to identify and deal with your uninvited guests!
Carpet beetles spread until you've got a whole house problem. Like fleas, they travel room to room requiring whole house floor treatment to erradicate.
Prep requiredOdorous House Ants are common in our area. Here's a fun fact for you: Odorous house ants plague PNW homes because of our rain! Odorous ants
are happiest outside where they belong, but after heavy rains, the 'honey dew' they store in their nests washes away causing them to go in search of your food,
in your kitchen. They are called Odorous due to the odd smell they emit if they get crushed. Treating Odorous ants involves baiting to knock-out the colony along
with area treatment.
Pavement Ants aka 'picnic ants' are less persistent than their Odorous relatives. These generally make a nuisance of themselves foraging. Pavement ants are commonly
found in cracked driveways or sidewalks. They are easily recognized by the little dirt mound they create. Treating Pavement ants involves baiting to knock-out the
colony along with area treatment.
Thatching Ants are recognizable by the mounds of pine needles, grass, and twigs they make. These mounds can be significant in size containing an average of 40,000 worker
ants. Slightly smaller than Carpenter ants, they are red and black in coloration. Thatching ants are capable of delivering a pretty hard bite, along
with spraying formic acid which is a skin irritant. Thatching ants are eliminated by mound treatment.
Moisture Ants love damp areas where water leaks have occured. Moisture ants are typically considered a nuisance, but are also a harbinger of home damage. While they do
indeed nest in wood inside your home, they only build colonies in wood that has already been compromised by water damage. Making sure moisture ants don't return
involves removal of the water damaged wood. We can provide relief by treating the colony until home repairs can be made.
Carpenter ants are common in the PNW. You see them on the ground, crawling on your siding, well, everywhere really. Ubiquitous doesn't even begin to cover it. When these industrious guys decide to set up house on your property, it's time to act and nip these wood destroying insects in the bud. Area treatment and baiting are our go-to methods to hit the colony. In the event you've got a wall void colony, inspection and consultation will be required for this more serious problem.
Stinging insects such as wasps and hornets are common in the spring and summer months, but they can become dangerous when they build their nests near homes and businesses. They can be aggressive inflicting painful stings, endangering people or pets nearby. We manually remove the nest and treat the area so they will not return. Wasps and hornets are prone to returning to the same place to make a new nest.
Top to bottom, inside and out, thorough inspection. For the person that wants to know about potentially brewing problems before disaster lets them know beyond doubt there is a problem. We will carefully inspect outside looking for any signs of potential or developing infestation. Attic, crawlspace and garage (if applicable). Along with an in depth in-house going over every room with a critical eye. Any problems annotated will be reported with supporting photos documenting the site of trouble for occupant to see.
